Sound description: One of the most exciting live bands in Monterey County, The Mystery Lights are a young garage rock group based in Salinas. Onstage, guitarist/vocalist Mike Brandon is known for hopping about between playing impressive solos. The Mystery Lights cover garage rock nuggets including The Kinks' "I Gotta Move" and The Easybeats' "Lovin' Machine." They have terrific originals like the garage stomp "Circles, Circles, Circles" and the full throttle rocker "Two Face Lane."
