Description

It's hard enough to spell Rachmaninoff, let alone get behind an
instrument and play one of his scores. Yet the young musicians of the
YMMC Chamber Players will do that and more tonight at their concert. A
small ensemble of violins, cellos, a viola and a piano will bring to
life the seminal works of Haydn, Rachmaninoff, Rozsa, and Korngold.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit YMMC music programs, and Marine
Life Studies, a non-profit organization committed to protecting
whales, dolphins and other marine wildlife. [JAF]
