Comedian Randy Kagan is still pissed off that he appeared on 1994''s Comics Only Volume 1, a movie with Jeff Foxworthy and Pam Matteson. After uttering a couple of profanities, Kagan laughs and tells me about the experience. "They never paid me for that," he says. Currently, the comedian is too busy to worry about collecting old debts. Kagan appeared on the Craig Kilborn Show this summer, taped a handful of shows called Game On with Animal Planet''s Matt Gallant, and just finished writing his first screenplay.
Kagan says that he loves to talk about California coastal communities including his hometown of Venice Beach. The comedian jokes that it is easy to feel young in a town that has 70-year-old skateboarders.
Randy Kagan performs at 9:20pm on Friday and Saturday nights at Doc Ricketts'' Nightclub, 180 E. Franklin, Monterey. Free. 649-4241.
