Q: Should television be blamed for problems in our
society?
Follow-up: Would you rather have a plasma screen TV or an XM satellite radio?
Mark Schlatter
Nurse | Monterey
A: When kids watch too much TV it’s poor parental guidance. Adults who watch too much TV choose to sit around all day.
Pick One, Buddy: Why not both?
John Lawson
Stereo Installer | Salinas
A: A lot of programming may be inappropriate for kids, whose parents don’t monitor them. It may not help society, but it’s not the cause of our problems.
Collector: Plasma TV. I’ve got XM.
Randy Crosby
Contractor | Monterey
A: Most people sit in front of it too much, but it’s not solely responsible for society’s problems. There’s a lot of music I don’t agree with too.
Ad It Up: XM radio. I like talk radio and I don’t like commercials.
