What is the most awkward situation you’ve been in?

ASKED AT MARINA’S DUNES SHOPPING CENTER.

Follow-up: What is the clumsiest thing you’ve done?

MARSHA GALLEGOS | Volunteer | Marina

A: I deliver newspapers to CHOMP and go into patients’ rooms. Sometimes they are walking around in their gown. They do not expect a stranger.

F: My husband gave me a self-protection alarm but when I fell down and set it off, no one came.

STEVEN THOMPSON | Youth Worship Councilmember | Seaside

A: I had an awkward handshake-hug with a random girl. She tried to give me a hug; I wanted a handshake because I was scared of her because she is so cute and pretty. She got all weirded out.

F: I’ve fallen off the stage while playing guitar.

APRIL WILLIAMS | Student | Marina

A: Celebrating my 21st birthday at a bar, I was helped outside by the bouncer because I had a few shots too many. Then I swung around and threw up on his shirt.

F: Walking out of Mervyn’s I walked into the doors before they opened.
