Our cover story on non-agricultural pesticide use within Monterey County includes charts detailing the top pesticides applied, applications by local governments, and the things the pesticides are used for.

Here are additional data on two years of local non-ag pesticide use.

The city data represent pesticide use by licensed applicators headquartered in the listed cities. The pesticides were not necessarily applied within those same cities; the commissioner’s records do not specify where within Monterey County the chemicals were applied.

Likewise, many pest control companies based outside of Monterey County applied pesticides within the county. Those applications are summarized in the “Out-of-County” spreadsheets.A
