Sixteen-year-old Ismael Mandujano was shot and killed in a drive by shooting last night, Salinas Police said.

At about 11:30pm, Mandujano was walking with friends near the corner of East Street and North Hebbron Avenue when a dark SUV rolled up and one of the passengers fired several shots at the group. Mandujano was shot multiple times in the upper torso and died on scene. This was the city's 10th gang-related homicide of 2009.
