What would your last meal be?

Asked at Clementine’s Kitchen in Del Rey Oaks.

Follow-up: If you could be any fruit or vegetable, what would you be and why?

SETH FLEISCHMAN | Raw food chef | Pacific Grove

A: Raw quiche. I love cashews and it’s very tasty. I like anything with a crust. I’ve eaten quiche since when was young. Now I make [raw] quiches.

Milk It: A coconut, because after you break off you get to travel to another island by the ocean and grow in a different location.

KATE HEINTZBERGER | Student | Salinas

A: Lasagna. It’s good and I’m Italian, so I love Italian food. Any type.

Think Thistle: An artichoke. They’re good and they look cool. I eat them every day and they just taste so good.

MELLIE KOSIER | Nurse | Clifton Park, N.Y.

A: A dessert. And it would have to have a whole lot of chocolate. I’ve loved chocolate since I was 2; I still remember the first time my mom gave me chocolate ice cream. My feet stuck straight out.

Worm Away: An apple. They’re not too sweet, not too tart.
