Full Circle

After a five-year absence from the county’s theater scene, Magic Circle Theatre is returning.

A brief resurfacing at Carl Cherry Center 10 months ago for the production of Falling; A Wake was received with faithful adulation—the audience had not forgotten the storied theater company that brought critically acclaimed works to the Peninsula like Agnes of God, Wit and the local premier of Laramie Project.

The company's founder, Elsa Con, now confirms that Magic Circle Theatre is in the process of moving back into their former Carmel Valley building (the artists’ collective that took up vacancy is leaving), and firing up their return season starting in February 2010.

A web address exists at www.magiccircletheatre.net, but is void of content, as if waiting. As will be many theater-goers on the Peninsula.
