The Assembly Rules Committee hears Maldonado's case for confirmation again today.

If he passes the test, his confirmation could go to the Assembly floor for a vote tomorrow, Thursday, April 22. 

This is the second time around for Maldonado's confirmation—when his confirmation failed to win enough votes on the Assembly floor in February, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger reappointed him.
