A juvenile chased after a car in the Target parking lot in Salinas this afternoon and fired four to six rounds as the sedan pulled away, Salinas police said.

The shooting took place about 1:30pm.  No one was injured.

According to police: "The juvenile suspect fled eastbound on foot and jumped the wall into the Plaza Club Apartments. The suspect vehicle was further described as missing the left front fender and the drivers side rear passenger window was covered with black plastic. The suspect was further described as being light complected, wearing dark colored pants and shirt, and a dark colored beanie."
