2010 California International Airshow Salinas

High-flying planes and stunt pilots fill the Salinas sky.

An early cloud cover brought about possible fears of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds not being able to fly to close out the airshow, but a bright sun halted that as the Thunderbirds took formation and wowed a large crowd on Sunday.

Famed international stunt pilot soared and careened through the clouds in his small, red plane, while monster trucks and jet-powered drag racers ripped up on the tarmac.
