2010 First Tee Open

Ted Schulz wins his first championship in nearly 20 years on a sunny Sunday.

As the cloud cover cleared over Pebble Beach Golf Links, Ted Schulz finished off a nice weekend and his first championship win since 1991.

The weekend also marked his first Champions Tour win with a final round score of 70, but his Saturday score was a 64 with a total of nine birdies.

"I was nervous at first, but then I started to hit the ball well," said Schulz during a post-round press conference. "I felt that my swing was pretty solid."

The final round brought on a dramatic scoreboard with four leaders at one point on the back nine at Pebble Beach.

"All I was trying to do was hit the next shot," said Schulz. "I rarely looked at the scoreboard."

Schulz birdied the 17th hole to help clinch a victory.

"It's huge to win."
