Follow-up: What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
NICOLETTE CIOLINO | Cosmetology Student | Monterey
A: Cheese, no joke. I’m sharp, edgy, bold, flavorful, and my favorite color is orange. Spray cheese is just too much fun.
Swine and Dine: Pigs feet – disgusting! My family always prepares the most random things and makes me try them.
JENNIFER MCCLELLAN | Energy Consultant | Monterey
A: I love watercress, so definitely that. It’s loaded with tons of vitamins and minerals and grows naturally in spring water. I grew up eating them fresh from streams!
Feeling Sluggish: Deep-fried snails. It was my first and last time.
ANDREW PEARSON | Personal Trainer | Seaside
A: Ninety-three percent organic, corn-fed lean ground beef because of my 7 percent body fat and my Drew “The Situation” washboard abs.
Funky Firsts: I tried chilli-seasoned grasshoppers in Mexico and they were actually pretty tasty.
