Carmel Valley’s rack of tasting rooms has doubled in five years – plus Gallante and Cima Collina are about to uncork their own rooms and Silvestri is seriously considering it. A couple notes, before a look at the lineup: Remember that most places waive the tasting fee if you buy a bottle, and would love to sign you up for the wine club. Wine Trolley

Packages also includes bottles of wine, cheese platters and specialty crackers between stops.
