Eighth and Lincoln, Carmel
Lectures and workshops taught by local instructors to 55-and-uppers range from traditional areas such as literature, photography and gardening to the more eclectic like Tai Chi, woodcarving and needlecraft. Frequent day excursions keep their imaginations on the go. A daily buffet offering fruits, salad, soups and sandwiches fuels the fun, along with piano accompaniment by volunteers. If all of this doesn’t make you want to retire early, clearly you don’t know what the good life is.
