It’s almost impossible to walk past Gianni’s without salivating – the aroma of savory red sauce baking with cheese and dough inside the shop’s many pizza ovens brings on a Pavlovian response. The strategically pointed vents help too. The long-standing local haunt has been slinging pizza pies since 1974, longer than any of the girls working behind the counter have been alive. While you may find lower prices at many chain pizzerias, the quality product Gianni’s puts out make it worth a few extra dollars. Calzones, salads and other Italian classics are also on the menu. There’s a full bar as well. Buon appetito!
