Woody Allen once said, “I hate reality, but it’s still the best place to get a good steak.” There are several ways to embrace reality at the Whaling Station: sirloin chateau steak, New York steak (bone-in Kansas City cut) or the tender Pisto-cut filet mignon. Every top quality cut is prepared with John Pisto’s secret blend of spices, so there is no wrong answer to the question, “What kind of steak will you be having?” There is a wrong answer for “How would you like it cooked?,” though. (Hint: The restaurant is a well-done affair, but a steak this good should never be.)
