For more than 110 years, Goodwill has made monumental impacts on the lives of individuals and communities throughout the country. In 2010 the nonprofit became a certified green business, and in 2011 was named a Green Power Partner by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. But Goodwill is also just a really great thrift store where you can find almost anything at a low price. The majority of Goodwill stores carry clothes, toys, furniture, home décor, appliances, dishware and things that simply defy definition. The satisfaction of saving money and shopping at a socially and environmentally sustainable business is a nifty added incentive.
