Been that way since I broke word we had our first foodie truck in town with "On A Roll: A Beautiful Food Truck Drops It Into Drive."

Her Lucy Lucy chicken-muenster-avocado-citrus salsa pressed sandwich (above) was a mini-love-story highlight of this year's West End Celebration in Sand City.

I even drove to San Jose to testify my love on camera for her upcoming spot on the Cooking Channel's program Eat Street, as reported last month.

Now we'll see if there's enough love for her to qualify for a doosie of an opportunity.

Today is the last day to vote for her to earn a spot on the Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race hosted by Pebble Beach Food & Wine favorite Tyler Florence.

Just maybe she can be one of eight trucks to take on a fiendish cross-country gauntlet of challenges.
