Zeph's One Stop Waives At-the-Door Fee to Celebrate Facility Remodel

Zeph’s One Stop (757-3947) is a Salinas landmark for a reason.

Make that many reasons…including its strategic location right where Highway 68 enters Salinas before Blanco Road and Star Market and the big-time bargain tastings like tonight’s Chardonnay session.

For just an Andrew Jackson (in advance) guests get music, a range of very worthy wines, a chance to talk with local winemakers one-on-one and nice snacks for $20.

Now there’s more reasons to like the place, including an expanded and upgraded wine bar area, more wine gear than ever and all new windows.

“The view of the produce fields, Gabilan mountains, Mount Toro and Santa Lucia Highlands is really nice,” co-owner Vince Ciolino says.

A bonus reason to heart Z's: In order to share the freshened digs with as many folks as possible, Ciolino and company are waving the $5 fee for walk-ups, so tonight's tasting is $20, even at the door.

The party starts at 5:30pm. Your Thursday just got an affordable upgrade.
