I know the amount of folks that subscribe to SiriusXM is probably less than the amount of folks that watched the short-lived Chevy Chase Show, but the satellite radio network will be airing something very cool (Channel 34) on Sept. 24 beginning at 8pm ET: Town Hall with Nirvana: A broadcast celebration of the 20th anniversary of arguably, one of the best and most influential bands of the 1990s.
The live, two-hour special will be highlighted by a round table discussion—led by Jon Stewart—with bassist Krist Novoselic, drummer Dave Grohl and producer Butch Vig. The guests will also take questions from callers worldwide.
According to Rollingstone.com, the program will be part of "the satellite radio network's Nevermind Radio limited-run channel."
Now is probably as good a time as ever to check out this satellite radio thing. I know I'll be hitting up the one person I know in the world who's already a subscriber, come Sept. 24.
