Lee Brice's "Love Like Crazy" holds the record for most time ever spent on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. So the probability that the country music star will play that tune during his Wednesday night performance at 8pm at the Monterey County Fair (free with fair admission), is very likely.
According to Country Weekly, Brice recorded the tune—written by Tim James and Doug Johnson—"because its storyline reminded him of his own grandmother and grandfather, who were married to each other for more than fifty years."
In addition to achieving success as a solo act, the South Carolina native has co-penned singles with Adam Gregory, Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw.
Check out next week's issue of the Monterey County Weekly for info about a couple longtime classic rock acts—WAR and Blue Oyster Cult—also playing the Monterey County Fair.
