Most of you are probably already aware that a chunk of Highway 1 collapsed into the ocean the other day. As the road crumbled, the new stage at Henry Miller Library continued its journey towards completion. Check out some footage featuring the lovable Sven the Hippie, below.

We're all looking forward to seeing this season's monster lineup break in the newly crafted collection of lumber, beginning with its debut on April 14 with Animal Collective.

On another note, the library is also trying to raise a little dough via Kickstarter and want folks to be aware that they are a non-profit, so it's tax deductible and generous givers will get some nice goodies. The goal is $6,250 and more than $4,000 has already been gifted. It's not that much to ask to continue having the opportunity to see bands like Arcade Fire in such an intimate and sublime setting.
