Reap the Rewards of Supporting DIY Local Music

So far, Moss Landing’s Andrew Dolan and The Good Sams have raised $580 on Kickstarter towards the distribution and duplication of its new LP Fully Organic and Gluten Free. But that still leaves them $2,820 short of their $3,400 goal. And the deadline is only 16 days away. If the goal isn't met, the band collects nothing.

The 12-track country-folk album of mostly original tunes—produced by Charlie McGovern and Adam Zerbe at PepperTree Studio in Carmel Valley—was recorded live. There aren’t any fancy effects or glitzy overdubs, just pure roots Americana-style jammin’ in the raw. Frontman Andrew Dolan calls the recording “a great representation of what the band sounds like now.”

In the spirit of NPR, the band is offering up some tasty goodies in return for your contributions including special edition posters, digital downloads of the album, copies of the CD, KPIG recordings, beer cozies, song dedications and even a private, two-set solo show with Andrew Dolan.
