On September 28, Canadian singer-songwriter, opera composer, Grammy Award nominee Rufus Wainwright will perform in Big Sur for the Henry Miller Library's annual benefit concert.
Wainwright's April 2012 release Out of the Game, his seventh studio album, was influenced by the music of Queen, David Bowie and Elton John. Rolling Stone wrote of the album, "The sheer brilliance leaves us exhausted: We have listened to a genius."
