Rodriguez was arrested as he was driving into Seaside Friday, while the unnamed male was arrested after Marina patrol officers spotted him while on duty. Rodriguez was booked at the Monterey County Jail, and the 17-year-old is currently at juvenile hall.
According to Marina Police Lieutenant Richard Janicki, both suspects, who are being held on $3 million bail apiece, have been charged with murder, attempted murder, shooting at an inhabited dwelling, gang conspiracy and committing the crimes for the benefit of a gang.
