Deep in the South Coast Big Sur mountains, the second Nacarubi Fest brought together psychedelic rock, dance-inspiring world soul music and a DJ dome that played deep into the night.
Bands like Tornado Rider, Matt Baldwin and Fishbone tore through the stage, filling festival-goers with crazy-heavy noise rock far off the beaten path.

To get away from the hot sun, music fans watched from the shade as groups like Salt Minds, She's My Sister, He's My Brother and Sky Country (featuring Nico Georis) crooned smooth tunes into the day.
At night, the beats were laid down with late-night DJs, Lagos Roots and drum ensembles giving plenty of reason to dance.
