San Diego-based rock quartet The Silent Comedy rocked the cozy, packed back room at East Village Coffee Lounge on Saturday night.

The band created a following after playing at venues all over Monterey the last few years and always draws a large crowd to singalong to their songs, which include subjects like moonshine, prohibition and the gold rush.
